  8. works on short filenames now.

  10. 1.3 added path field for shell and ? directory browse for 
  11. both pgp and shell paths. works with NT now.

  13. easily encrypts and decrypts files while preserving long 
  14. filenames.  uses pgp for dos.

  16. first make sure you have the program PGP.EXE for DOS.  
  17. if you don't have it you can download it (a link to it 
  18. is at the bottom of my web page listed above).  set the 
  19. path to PGP.EXE and COMMAND.COM by clicking EDIT PATH.  
  20. note: nt's command.com is in the NT\SYSTEM32 directory,
  21. dos/windows command.com is either in C:\DOS or C:\ .
  22. now you can encrypt and decrypt files.  after encrypting 
  23. or decrypting a file you can press RENAME which will wipe 
  24. and delete the old file and rename the PGP file to the
  25. old filename. this way no one knows it's a PGP file. to
  26. decrypt select the encrypted file then press decrypt.
  27. then rename it to it's original name (if you don't it 
  28. won't have a file extension such as .doc).

  30. windows 3.x users -
  31. you can still use this program if you have the win32s
  32. drivers (available from http://www.microsoft.com or
  33. do a search for win32s).  The only thing different i've
  34. noticed is that the hint box by the buttons are all 
  35. black so you can't read them.
